If you already follow me, you know that I’m always thinking of new ways to make eating “healthy” taste as good and be as enjoyable as possible. (And if you don’t follow me, you should hit that little Follow button 😁⬇️) That being said, here’s a quick and easy baking hack I discovered to make your own healthy, high protein Funnel Cake at home that you can eat all the time and don’t need to go to the fair for (hey, the brand is called Kodiak “Cakes” right? 😂😅)
I’ve been working out and eating to be fit in some way, shape or form for over 10 years (it started with meal prepping and has evolved into flexible dieting) and I can say without question that the flexible dieting (i.e. If It Fits Your Macros) approach is the best way to build and -more importantly- sustain a great physique and healthy lifestyle.
Now haters and keyboard warriors will look at this and say “yEaH bUt It DoEsNt TaStE aS gOoD aS rEaL FuNnEL cAkE” or however they talk. That’s true; since it’s not being deep fried or using a ton of sugar, it won’t taste quite the same as getting it from the fair. But if you’re trying to eat healthy, which would you prefer? Eating legit funnel cake once or twice a year, or eating this -which still tastes great- all the time? Personally, I lean towards option B.
