aka “Carnival cake” in most amusement park in the US. This is my go-to dessert whenever I’m in the US. I personally made a PINOY mango version and cookies and cream version of the world famous FUNNEL CAKE! Super Yummy and Easy to make.

Take note: You will need a FUNNEL 😉
Ingredients:
3 large eggs
2 cups of milk (any milk will do, i used full cream milk)
1/4 cup of white sugar
2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
3 cups of all purpose flour
^^this will at least make 7-10 medium sized funnel cake
For the smaller portion:
1 large egg
2/3 cup of milk
4 tsp of white sugar
1 cup of all purpose flour
2/3 tsp of baking powder (over 1/2 tsp)
1/6 tsp of salt (less than 1/4)
PROCEDURE:
In a mixing bowl
Put the 3 large eggs
add 2 cups of milk
add 1/4 cup of white sugar
add 2 tsp of baking powder
add 1/2 tsp of salt
add 3 cups of flour
then, whisk until lumps are gone
then transfer the batter in the “funnel”
How to cook:
In a heated pan with oil
using the funnel, slowly drip the batter in the oil
make sure you do it in a circular motion
wait for it to turn into light to golden brown
flip and do the same on the other side.
add many toppings you like!
I used:
powdered sugar
vanilla ice cream / cookies and cream ice cream
whip cream
chocolate sprinkles
crushed cookies
chocolate syrup
****i used the smuckers magic shell, no syrup ;-(
