Huge Spike in Beginner Funnel Sales + Budget Shift Strategy (Day 83)

A surprisingly strong day with £452 spent ($592) and total revenue hitting $988, generating a solid $396 profit.
The standout insight: most of the revenue came from the new beginner-focused “Your First Song” funnel—not the main Riffs funnel.
With an 8% conversion rate and a $70 average cart value, it dramatically outperformed expectations.
However, retargeting ad delivery stalled with zero impressions, and Black Friday competition continues to distort CPMs.
I shifted budgets today to push the new funnel harder and speed up its exit from Learning Phase.

Strategy Breakdown
Despite the Black Friday CPM surge, the beginner funnel produced an outlier performance—strong conversion rate and significantly higher AOV than the main Riffs funnel.
To capitalise on this, I reduced main campaign spend by £40 and increased the beginner funnel budget by roughly 10% (now £90/day).
The goal is to accelerate the learning phase and test whether high performance can stabilise.
Retargeting remains broken, so the video engagement campaign is temporarily less useful.
The newly launched video ad featuring me shows great early engagement but weak CTR, indicating the concept works but the copy may need refinement.

My Focus
Push more budget into the new funnel, monitor whether the strong conversion rate holds, fix the stalled retargeting ad delivery, and iterate video creatives quickly.
The priority is getting this funnel optimised before December–January, when beginners are most motivated to start learning guitar.
