I’m ranking every coaching funnel from best to worst. Some of you won’t like this.
Most coaches are using the wrong funnel. They’re either overcomplicating it or using something that worked before but doesn’t work now.
Here’s my tier list ranking of the best funnels for coaches in 2026:
S TIER – Webinar Funnels
Webinar funnels are S-tier for one reason: they close high-ticket.
You can handle objections live. You build authority in real-time. And if you know what you’re doing, they convert at 15-40%.
This is the king of funnels for coaches. No debate.
A TIER – VSL Funnels
VSL funnels are A-tier. Video sales letters are powerful. They’re scalable. They work 24/7 without you being there.
But here’s the thing, they require a lot of upfront work, testing, and iteration. They’re not as good as webinars for closing high-ticket, but they’re very close.
A TIER – Challenge Funnels
Challenge funnels are A-tier. 5-day challenges work. They build momentum. They create a community feel. People get results during the challenge, which makes the pitch easier.
But they require daily engagement and follow-up. If you can execute them consistently, they’re incredible. Most coaches can’t.
B TIER – Low-Ticket Funnels
Low-ticket funnels are B-tier. $27-$297 offers are easy to sell. Low friction. People buy without thinking too hard.
But here’s the problem, you need massive volume to make real money. And the margins are thin.
They’re good for list-building and warming up your audience. Not good for revenue.
C TIER – Email Sequence Funnels
Email sequence funnels are C-tier. Pure email nurture, no webinar, no VSL. Just a sequence that pitches your offer.
They work, but they’re slow. They require excellent copywriting. And most coaches don’t have the skills to make them convert well.
