UPDATE: something I wanted to emphasize and didn’t show too much in this video, is that when you pull on the door (knob/handle), place your non-gun hand in such as way that you can block a punch or a strike to your throat or face, WHILE keeping your firearm pointing towards the threat, positioned at your lower torso (as shown in the video) in your gun hand. This is a more probable chance, depending on the circumstances, that someone will come out, unarmed, and start punching you, then the suspect in the house engaging in a gun fight with you. Use the thumbnail photo as a reference.

Disclaimer and More Information:
Searching a room or building under suspicious circumstances are inherently dangerous even with the proper amount of training and extra back-up. Here, we will discuss The Fatal Funnel and how easily a suspect can grab your firearm if you are clearing a room or a building.
Even as an armed private security guard, it is not a safe idea to clear a building or a building by yourself. If you happen to find a door or a building unsecure, the first step that you should consider is call the police. If your security employer policy is to search a room or building that was left unsecure and the facts show that there might be a burglary in progress or past occured, then your next step is to wait for back up from another private security professional.
There is no safe way to search a building or room by yourself even if you are armed. In this video, I will show you the safest way to search an area of the unknown but you must realize that the safer way of conducting the search as described in this video is by having at least FOUR armed law enforcfement/police officers.
This video is not designed to be used entirely as a security training video. You should consult with a qualified private security training instructor and discuss the content for the best technique. I am not liable for any civil, administrative, or criminal liability that may arise from this video.
